As of 6/11/2026 still waiting for someone to reach out and communicate the status of resolving our issue.
We've been TruGreen customers for a couple of years and up until this issue we've had great success with our lawn care.
On 5/6/2026 we had the TruShrub Bark and Foliage Protection service completed. Within 12hrs or less, our beautiful Dogwood of over 4 years died. Both my husband and I have made numerous phone calls, email requests and were told that someone would be getting back with us. I was told just yesterday this issue still had an open ticket and would be escalated. The lack of communication is beyond unprofessional. We are at 16 days with our dead tree, and no communication from anyone. My husband was told that he would hear back from Ryan on 5/18 and still nothing.
We sent a section of a branch to the Kenton County Agricultural Extension Office and they confirmed it died due to leaf scorch from a chemical.
I will take this as far up as it needs to go in order to have our beautiful tree replaced.
We continue to receives bills for this service, unreal.

Great service from Keith (we call him KJ) in the 27614 N. Raleigh home area. He listened to our concerns, made sure to make a note of it, and took care of all the areas we spoke about. He's very polite and professional.

Representative knocked on my door. Informed me who he was and what chemicals he would be applying and when to water. Also informed me what I should be expecting with my yard.

TruGreen salesman Jovanny and a female associate walked up to my door, explicitly read my extensive "No Soliciting" sign, shook his head, and chose to ignore it anyway. He proceeded to write out a property assessment and hang a marketing leaflet on my door—all of which was captured clearly on my doorbell cam. These people are the same ilk as the aggressive solar salesmen who plague neighborhoods, showing absolutely no regard for anyone but making their sale.
Why hire a company whose employees can't follow basic instructions on a front door? To make matters worse, I called the number left on the leaflet to express my discontent, only to get connected right back to the exact same smug salesman. He offered nothing but an insincere apology. Complete lack of professional discipline.

I am not sure your lawn experts are recognizing the GRUBS in my back yard area. I saw the signs of their beetles emerging and need to ensure the eggs they laid don't survive into worms and eat up anymore of my back yard.

Signed up for a years' service and unmentioned but buried in the contract of course is that if you don't cancel after a year, they continue to provide services and bill you per service at an even higher rate than the annual service cost. High price and unethical behavior. Go anywhere else

Terrible experience. We hired TruGreen because we were experiencing issues with our lawn. After paying TruGreen, our lawn actually looks worse than it did before we hired them. Their visits lasted about five minutes each week, and despite repeatedly telling them there was no improvement, nothing changed. Only one technician seemed to have any real knowledge about lawn care. They frequently pushed additional treatments that were outside the package we paid for—constant upselling with no results. To make matters worse, when our service term ended, there was no follow-up to see if we wanted to continue; they simply switched us to a month-to-month plan. Overall, very poor customer service and we cancelled their service. My husband has been taking care of our lawn and our lawn looks fantastic, now! I would give them a zero star.
