What reviewers say
AI generated
Most reviewers were unhappy with their experience overall. Consumers frequently struggled with unhelpful support agents, automated replies, and extremely long waiting times when trying to resolve technical issues. Many people also reported receiving faulty equipment or experiencing sudden hardware failures shortly after purchase, accompanied by frustrating warranty claims. Reviewers expressed deep disappointment over the lack of proper solutions and communication when seeking help.
The minority of people were satisfied with the efficient after-sales service, noting smooth communication and fast product replacements. Some reviewers noted that their broken devices were thoroughly investigated, quickly repaired, or swapped without incurring extra costs.

I honestly couldn’t be happier with the service I received from DJI.
From my very first contact with their online customer support right through to receiving my repaired drone back, the whole experience was exceptional. The support team were friendly, knowledgeable and kept me informed every step of the way, making what could have been a stressful situation completely hassle-free.
The repair centre was equally impressive. They stayed in constant contact throughout the entire process, providing regular updates along with photos and videos of the inspection and repair, which gave me complete confidence that my drone was in the best hands.
What really amazed me was the speed of the service. My drone was collected, repaired and returned to me via DPD in just three working days. That’s an incredibly fast turnaround and far exceeded my expectations.
The drone came back fully repaired, working perfectly and looking after exactly as I’d hoped. It’s rare to receive customer service of this standard these days, but DJI have absolutely nailed it.
A huge thank you to everyone involved. Outstanding customer support, first-class communication, an incredibly efficient repair service and a lightning-fast turnaround. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend DJI to anyone. Five stars all the way!

If you are Spanish speaker, I am going to open another post in Spanish, to tell how to denounce to the administrative cosume authorities and begin a judicial proccess, totally free, no layer needed and the first steps can be done using Internet.
I bought a DJI One a month ago. I still haven't received it. They sent it with an incomplete address. DHL sent it to an agency two hours from my house and was delivered to someone named Elisa. Three weeks of email exchange. The last straw is asking me filing a police report. Unbelievable—no money, no drone, just a rip-off. Buy from reputable companies, not DJI.
edited: DJI is doing the same here in Trustpilotg
Well as everybody can see they want me to file a Police report for a drone that was never mine. They made me make their work and call to THEIR provider in a toll number. World upside down, only words and words so time pass by. Completly sure is IA, I mean, like 2000 words emails to tell me (.... ....). And even impliying I had picked up the drone.
DJI, we keep you alive, I have been client for 10 years, what do you think you are doing. I paid for a Drone one moth ago to play with my family this summer and this has been ::::::
You told me you are going to investigate, that is your problem, not mine. Are you trying to blackmail me by keeping money and no delivery my drone. The one you sent was sent to anonymous not me. I gonna try to calm.

Update: I stand by my rating and would rate it lower if I could. It took them almost a week to escalate my case and that was AFTER I wrote my original review. Their "solution" was for me to go without a microphone for 9 to 11 days, which simply isn't an option for me. I've already purchased the RODE Wireless Pro and couldn't be happier with it!
"Understanding and patience"? Now that's just funny. You did NOTHING to solve my problem and have the nerve to thank me for my understanding and patience. Your public response here implies I was somehow satisfied with your private email response and quite frankly, it was a day late and a dollar short, at best
For anybody reading this...spend your hard earned money elsewhere. I've only had the RODE Wireless Pro for about a week and wish I would've just gone with them to begin with
If I could rate DJI lower, I would. Spent $200 on their Mic 2 and within a month the noise cancelling started acting weird. I’d shoot a video and the audio would be perfect. 2 minutes later, the audio sounded like I was inside of a damn rave speaker, you couldn’t hear my voice and hear every background noise possible. And this happened without me changing any settings or moving the camera whatsoever
When I tried their customer support they gave me the run around for over an hour and once I did get some help, they told me to send the whole thing back to them to get fixed, which would take another 9 to 11 business days without offering a temporary replacement and leave me without a mic for at least that long
Honestly…do NOT waste your money on this thing. Not only is it a shitty product, their customer service lacks in every way imaginable. 10 out of 10 do NOT recommend

DJI sent me a faulty drone, then replaced it with another faulty one.
The replacement produced a corrupted image during a professional client job and has a flimsy landing leg. I sent DJI the corrupted image as evidence, yet they still told me the drone is "functioning perfectly."
The customer support has been even worse than the product. My evidence has been ignored, I keep receiving generic responses, and weeks later I'm still without a proper solution.
If this is how DJI handles faulty products and professional customers, I won't be buying DJI again.

At the start of May, I purchased a DJI Lito. The drone failed, and I have been offered a repair; I am still waiting for it to be returned. The team, I think, does the best they can, but they just fall short of expectations time after time,
The service has been slow; the product has been a complete waste of money and unusable for the holiday it was purchased for.
The service, whilst well-meaning, is terrible mixed messages and absent of updates.
I am unsure of how many emails have now been exchanged, but it feels to be in the hundreds, and we have made no progress at the end of July.
The issues with the communication are beyond understandable. I have asked for the device to be returned broken, as the service centre, whilst still in Indo, after seeing they use a 3-star rating on Google, is a repair centre, which I dont think fits with the premium brand DJI is attempting to project.
Purchased May, broken May, returned god knows when. I have arranged my own courier, and still no idea if the drone is repaired.

Bought a 300 dollar dji mic 2 plus a 70 dollar mic. Plain and simple, they dont work. Well they do but only when they feel like it. The bluetooth is so over complicated it drops in and out just for fun. Yesterday i lost 8 hours of filming footage because it couldnt be bothered to work properly even though all the indicator lights said it was fine. Highly recommend no one buys this product. Save your money and go elsewhere.
Regarding your reply. I have put your product for sale on marketplace. I dont want it in my life. Its ruined a whole weeks work which cannot be redone.

I am very disappointed with the repair assessment I received.
The power button became stuck during normal use. It was not caused by misuse or by a crash. However, the report claims that the drone was dropped and, based on that assumption, I am being asked to pay €92 just to repair the power button.
I strongly disagree with this conclusion. The issue I reported was simply that the power button became stuck and could no longer be pressed. There is no evidence that this problem was caused by a drop.
I respectfully request that my case be reviewed again by a different technician. Charging €92 for a power button that failed during normal operation is unreasonable, and I believe this matter should be investigated more carefully.
Please reconsider your repair assessment and provide a fair resolution.
Thank you for your time, and I look forward to your response.

DJI Neo 2 , Can we get an update with the option to change the video from landscape to Portrait on the fly using the toggle buttons as I don't like to take my phone on a ride but like yo film instagram shorts aswell as landscape videos for YouTube, This update can't come soon enough DJI make it happen asap 😎🤘🏽
Reply from DJI2026-07-15
Hi there! Thank you so much for reaching out and sharing such a fantastic feature request for the DJI Neo 2! 😎🤘🏽
We completely understand your situation. When you are out on a ride, the last thing you want to do is pull out your phone just to switch video orientations between YouTube widescreen and Instagram Shorts. Having a quick option to toggle between landscape and portrait mode directly using the physical buttons on the fly would indeed be a game-changer for solo creators and riders.
We highly value user feedback like yours to help improve our products. We have officially recorded your suggestion and forwarded it directly to our R&D and Product Team for their evaluation and future consideration.
Thank you again for your incredible support and passion for our products! Safe riding and happy filming!
Steer well clear of DJI's customer service if you wish to avoid a lengthy and frustrating ordeal.
I returned an item and provided proof of postage right at the start, and they even thanked me for it.
Yet, after almost a month, they have the audacity to ask for the exact same document again, which clearly shows they're just trying to stall my refund.
I sent the required copies to the link they provided so they could verify the proofs, but this whole process is entirely unacceptable and their generic apologies are meaningless.
It certainly looks like a deliberate tactic to avoid processing my payment, banking on me not having that proof anymore and using it as an excuse to deny the payout.

Defective camera and deeply disappointing after-sales service
My experience with DJI and its after-sales service has been extremely disappointing.
I purchased a DJI Osmo Action Adventure Combo in Japan, which included the camera, three batteries, a charging hub and an extension rod. The camera had a defect in its side compartment door: it could be opened simply by sliding it, without having to press the safety release button first.
During normal use, this might seem like a minor issue as you can simply close the door again. However, this is a camera specifically advertised for underwater recording. In my case, the compartment door opened while I was using the camera in the sea, allowing water to enter and causing the camera to stop working.
DJI simply classified the issue as “water damage”, without properly considering that the water entered because of a faulty compartment door, rather than through negligence or misuse on my part.
Their initial quotation was €192.04 before tax:
€106.67 for the core board module
€24.17 for a battery
€25.20 for the repair service
€36 for shipping
I explicitly told them that I did not want the damaged battery to be replaced, yet they continued to include it in the quotation. After I complained, they offered me a €70 discount. Even with this discount, the final cost would have been approximately €146.44 including tax.
The most absurd part is that I found the same camera brand new on Amazon for €175. In other words, DJI expected me to pay almost €150 to repair a camera that was damaged as a result of a defective compartment door, while also charging me for a battery I had asked them not to replace and €36 for shipping. For less than €30 more, I could purchase a completely new camera with a new battery and a new warranty.
Furthermore, after I rejected the quotation, DJI agreed to return the camera to me free of charge. I therefore do not understand why they wanted to charge €36 for shipping if I accepted the repair, while apparently covering the same return shipment when I declined it.
I understand why they cannot return a water-damaged lithium battery, as transporting it could present a safety risk. What I do not understand is why they insisted on charging me for a replacement battery after I had clearly stated that I did not want one.
I also understand that a product purchased in Japan may have warranty limitations in Europe. Nevertheless, this is still a DJI product, and the problem was caused by what I consider to be a manufacturing defect in the locking mechanism of a camera designed and advertised for underwater use.
I would have considered it reasonable to pay for the labour and possibly the shipping, but not almost the full price of a new camera to repair damage caused by the product’s own defective closure.
The camera was excellent while it worked, but DJI’s handling of this case and its after-sales service have been deeply disappointing.

16th July update:
Hello Pablo Muñoz García,
Thank you for your patience. We are sorry to hear that the previous repair proposal has not met your expectations.
Upon checking, your device's warranty is registered in Japan and is therefore only valid for warranty services within Japan. According to our After-sales policy, DJI does not provide a global warranty; therefore, we regret to tell if you have it repaired in the EU region, it will be a paid repair. Pardon us for the inconvenience caused.
Should you have the opportunity to return to Japan, we would recommend contacting the local DJI Service Centre directly to arrange the repair under warranty.
Alternatively, should you wish to proceed with the previously provided repair proposal, please do not hesitate to reach out, and we will be happy to assist you further.
Thank you for your understanding and support.

[RESOLVED] Ordering directly from DJI doesn't mean DJI stands behind the shipment... Unless you insist, a lot.
FedEx (DJI's chosen carrier) sent an email on Friday saying my DJI power 1000 mini order (€479) would arrive "today by 8pm", hours later, a "package delivered" one, only the delivery had apparently happened the day before, 29 hours earlier, on Thursday... Their automated system must have somehow forgotten to update me, and DJI, which minutes later sent me a "package delivered" one themselves.
Checked around, asked around, nothing to be seen, checking the tracking is where the fun starts, the initial 8 datapoints had organic dates (14:40, 17:01, etc), the last 3, delivery included, just happened to be at 12:00 on the dot on 3 different locations.
The "proof of delivery", which is what DJI says proves FedEx delivered the package, has no ID (DNI in Spain), no first/last name, no photo of the location/package/recipient, and no digital signature. The signer is listed as "S. Stamp", a "receptionist/front desk", at a residential address, in a town where barely 2000 people live, on a street of single-family homes.
Needless to say we were at home both when it was supposedly delivered, and when it was supposed to be delivered, plus have a video intercom, no FedEx calls, at any point in time.
Seeing as there was an obvious error, I for one called FedEx directly and opened a support ticket the same day, laying all of this out in writing, then reported the issue to DJI immediately, including the full FedEx thread and case number attached, exchanged dozens of messages with my DJI representative, which tried to reship the product twice, and even asked me to file a formal criminal complaint with the "Guardia Civil" here in Spain, which I did, explaining the full situation.
Which takes us to today, after 2 weeks and 5 days, a lost package, two failed reshipment attempts, a visit to the National Police, a visit to the Guardia Civil, a formal criminal compain, and roughly fifty emails across 2 representatives... For DJI's response to amount to "we're sorry, FedEx says it's all good, that's that".
And I'm left without my money, without my power station, without my past and future time, and with a long list of tickets/reviews/formal complains/etc to go through, one done, I guess.
If something goes wrong with your order, don't expect DJI to actually resolve it.
DJI order: 0340583811468
DJI case ID: 10224296 or CAS-34818787-Q5M9K6
FedEx tracking: 873165806523
FedEx case ID: C-246730398 Ref-10644
=============================
31/07/26
The issue has been resolved. After several weeks of persistence, DJI ultimately reversed course, arranged a new shipment, and the replacement arrived correctly.
It took a formal police report, well over fifty emails, and knowing my rights as an EU consumer before actually receiving our order... I just wish it had been much, much simpler to handle.
Credit where due: in the final stretch, the case was handled attentively, and the resolution was executed well.

DJI Not Good!!
I am extremely disappointed with the appalling customer service I have received from DJI. After returning an item using the label provided, I have been left in the dark for nearly a month with no updates, despite the stated 14-working-day refund timeline. Every time I chase for an update, I only receive generic, unhelpful emails saying it's been escalated. Beware, people—once DJI gets your money, it is really hard to get it back, so be warned when ordering from this company.

Defective replacement device delivered after paid repair – no accountability taken
I paid for a professional DJI repair service and received back a brand new, sealed replacement device instead of my repaired drone. When I finally opened and tested the device, it had multiple defects and was completely unflyable – not a single flight minute on it.
After numerous emails and phone calls, DJI's only response is a €60 discount on a new repair. They argue I should have tested the device within 90 days. However, I believe DJI as a company bears responsibility for delivering a defective product regardless of when it was opened – especially when it was delivered brand new and sealed.
For a company of DJI's size and reputation, refusing to take full responsibility for a defective unit they themselves delivered is deeply disappointing. I have now contacted the consumer protection authority and will be exploring further legal options.

To better assist you and investigate the incident, could you please provide the following information:
- The serial number (SN) of your product

Thank you for your cooperation. We look forward to resolving this for you as soon as possible.
All the information for the DJI drone is available. Please don't make me regret working with a global brand."
Dear DJI Support Team,
I would like to report an issue I experienced with my DJI Neo 2 drone, which I recently purchased in Türkiye. After using the device in light rain without any warning, I noticed it failed to prepare for takeoff some time later and sent it to the authorized service center in İstanbul, the Karacasulu Service.
My device is currently at the service center, registered under the form number Q6T0010095. The inspection revealed oxidation due to liquid contact, and I was asked to pay a fee for a replacement.
I chose this brand because of my belief in the quality and global reputation of DJI, but this technical service approach has seriously shaken my trust. Even lesser-known brands in the market provide more user-friendly solutions, support, or replacements in technical service, sometimes even in worse conditions. When I review user forums and complaints in Türkiye, I see that similar situations consistently result in fee requests.
Despite my repeated requests, I have not received a satisfactory response. I kindly request that this issue be resolved in a manner befitting your global vision, and that a solution-oriented approach be adopted under warranty or good faith.
I request that the necessary action be taken.
Sincerely,
Güven Değirmencioğlu

Dear Güven Değirmencioğlu,
Thank you for your patience while we looked into your case internally.
After reviewing with the local service team, we were informed that the liquid contact indicators inside the aircraft had changed color, indicating liquid exposure. Based on the inspection result and the flight conditions described, the issue was determined to be related to operation in rainy weather conditions.
In this case, the situation falls outside of the warranty coverage, which is why a paid repair solution was provided by the service center.
We appreciate your understanding and remain at your service if you have any further questions or need additional assistance.

Dear Güven Değirmencioğlu,
Thank you for reaching out to the DJI Support Team.
I am genuinely sorry to hear about the difficulties you have experienced with your DJI Neo 2 and the frustration caused by the recent service center evaluation. We completely understand how disappointing it is to face unexpected repair fees, especially since you chose DJI for our quality and global reputation. Your feedback regarding the technical service process in Türkiye is heard, and we deeply regret that this experience has shaken your trust in our brand.
We would like to look into this matter closely to ensure that the inspection was handled properly and to explore what we can do to assist you further. To help us escalate and investigate this issue, could you please provide us with the following details?
Your DJI Case Number: (This usually starts with "CAS-", if one was generated for you)
The Serial Number (SN) of your drone: (Usually found on the sticker inside the battery compartment or on the original packaging)
Thank you for your patience and for giving us the opportunity to make this right. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
Just experience the worst service ever...the tech agent cannot understand my question about the drone. Can't believe it! This makes me feel like the whole service is not professional as a big company.

Hi Tristan Martin, we sincerely apologize for this frustrating experience. This is definitely not the standard of professional service we strive for, and we are sorry the agent couldn't assist you properly.
We want to investigate this interaction and get your drone questions answered correctly. Could you please send us your Case Number (if you have one) and the drone's Serial Number (SN)? Thank you so much for your understanding and cooperation.
I loved the product however my experience with support was another situation.
Initially it was great however when they told me they will not replace my fly away drone that changed things. My drone which was not very far from me was flying over the gulf and landed in the water. I lost complete control of it only able to go up and down. The drone eventually ran out of battery and landed in the water which really sucks.
I contacted support to show them what happened. I have proof that I could not do anything. Their product failed me and it was not a cheap drone. They refused to replace it citing they are having an issue with supply and my warranty is out...not by much. Regardless a toy/tool I have flown only a few times since purchase is now gone and they refuse to replace it. Maybe I am wrong but I do not see that. I have a drone that failed. Their product failed and just so happened to be barely out of warranty. I could understand if something was broken but no the drone failed I did not fail the drone I did not do anything out of normal.

Hello,
Thank you for reaching out and for sharing your honest feedback. We sincerely apologize for the unfortunate situation you encountered with your drone, and we understand how disappointing this must be for you.
To help us review your case thoroughly, could you please provide the following information?
1. Serial number (SN) of your drone (can be found on the packaging or the device itself)
2. Case number (if you have already contacted us and received one)
3. Your location (city/country or region)
Once we have these details, we will escalate your case to the relevant team for further review. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding, and we will do our best to assist you.
Again, we are sorry for the inconvenience you have experienced.
I love my DJI Mini 4 Pro but recently I installed a firmware update on my RC 2 controller and it bricked the device, with the screen not turning on despite the LED lights and buttons still working. I sent it in for repair and was given a quote of £235 as I was out of warranty - despite the fact it was their firmware update that broke it. Their online chat was very opaque with generic responses, so I was passed on to their Customer Care team via email. They agreed to take £60 off of the quote, for which I was grateful, but having asked around 5-6 times how I am meant to prevent their firmware updates breaking my devices in future I’ve still not received an answer - just more generic responses. I was even told it would be “very unlikely” that it would break again, which given I’d only had the controller for 2.5 years you’d think it should already have been unlikely for it to break from a firmware update! It seems their view is that they can just keep pushing shoddy updates for which I’ll have the pleasure of paying hundreds of pounds for each time. Hugely disappointed considering how much I love my drone, I very much doubt I’ll be buying from DJI again in future after this experience.

Hi Dee,
Hope this message finds you well.

Hi, thank you for your patience.
Based on the information you provided, we have located the case. In-depth repair requires sending the device to a service center for inspection. For customers in New Zealand, such repairs need to be shipped to the service center in Australia for processing.
The estimated handling time at the service center is 3 to 4 working days, excluding transit time for shipping both ways and weekends/public holidays.
We understand you rely on this device for work. We suggest you consider whether proceeding the repair service or not. Should you decide to move forward, we can help expedite the processing at the Australian service center.
Please take this into consideration. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.

My DJI Osmo 360 was stolen during my trip to Rome. DJI Support handled my case exceptionally well. They registered my device as stolen, flagged the serial number, and successfully transferred my DJI Care Refresh to my replacement Osmo 360. A special thank you to Eisya for the outstanding, professional, and caring support throughout the entire process. This exceeded my expectations. Thank you!

Pleasantly surprised by how well DJI dealt with a broken component for our Ronin 4D camera. The customer service was extremely quick every time I had a query, and they were able to send updated shipping labels almost immediately when I wanted to alter the packaging weight. The cost of repair was extremely reasonable and we didn't have warranty on the product either. Thank you!
