What reviewers say

AI generated

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many consumers express strong dissatisfaction regarding the quality of the equipment, noting that certain products cease functioning prematurely or develop issues like poor battery life on phones. Furthermore, a considerable number of people report major issues with the service and pricing structure associated with repairs, including being quoted high costs for parts and labor. However, some customers also noted that certain flagship phones offer excellent camera quality, while a few praised specific models for good performance. A few other people mentioned positive experiences, stating that some items performed reliably or that they enjoyed the use of certain devices, like a specific tablet model. While overall service is often criticized for being slow or unhelpful, some reviewers experienced successful fixes from external, recommended services.

What people say

Bad service

I attempted to purchase a Samsung tablet for my son's birthday using their student promotion. I submitted the required forms twice to the email address provided by customer support, but received no response. When I followed up via live chat, I was told to wait, yet nothing changed. Surprisingly, another representative advised me not to wait because the current discount could end soon. It seems like Samsung is not interested in welcoming new customers. I have never experienced issues like this with Apple.

Very disappointing experience with…

Very disappointing experience with Samsung appliances. We purchased a microwave, oven, cooker hood, dishwasher, and fridge. The microwave is small and feels outdated, the oven had a barely visible tape on the lamp that melted and left adhesive inside, the cooker hood is extremely noisy, and the dishwasher is also loud when draining water. Only the fridge has performed as expected so far. We expected much better quality and attention to detail from a brand like Samsung. While it is relatively easy to contact customer service, our experience has been frustrating because the solution offered was to arrange a paid service visit rather than acknowledge any responsibility for the issues we reported. In particular, regarding the oven, we were told that users should remove any plastic materials before first use, despite the tape being so small and inconspicuous that it was practically impossible to notice. Overall, based on our experience, the products have not lived up to expectations and the after-sales support has not provided satisfactory solutions. Unfortunately, I would not recommend Samsung home appliances and would encourage potential buyers to carefully research alternatives before making a purchase.

Samsungs health/Samsung/Tizen

Use a galaxy watch for work outs mainly running. Its had alot of issues just being glitch when starting work outs and just normal use getting between screens can be a nightmare at times especially with sweat or any kind of humidity. Now they went and changed the whole dash board on the health app so there is no longer an option to start a workout from the app (you can track your menstrual cycle though) but now you must go to settings and add a widget to your home screen to start your workouts separate from the app and customer service said its to make it easier to start tracking your work out. I guess easier is having to call customer service to figure out how to start the work out because the app changes with out notice and gives no instructions on how your now supposed to start a work out. Even googling there was no information just instruction on how starting a work out was done before the change. Also new samsung tv uses a Tizen interface. Its all ugly and works like shit, it glitches out more than ever. Going to have to find a new provider for my electronics cause I refuse to give more money for this cheap shit

Worst Warranty Experience I've Ever Had

I honestly don't know what's worse—this dishwasher or Samsung's customer service. I bought this dishwasher expecting it to be reliable, clean my dishes, and operate quietly. Instead, it's been one problem after another. The dishwasher makes a loud clicking noise throughout the entire wash cycle. Not once in a while—throughout the cycle. When the Samsung technician came out, I was told this is "normal." I've owned several dishwashers over the years, and not one of them has made this kind of noise. My family and friends' dishwashers don't either. Calling this normal is ridiculous. Then there's the cleaning performance. Dishes regularly come out dirty. The technician actually told me that's acceptable because newer dishwashers are more efficient. Seriously? It's a dishwasher. Its entire purpose is to clean dishes. I understand you have to load them properly, but telling customers that dirty dishes are just part of owning a modern dishwasher is beyond absurd. The rack hardware is another joke. It constantly sticks and feels incredibly cheap. The technician admitted the parts could be replaced but then said the new parts are basically the same and would probably do the exact same thing. So what's the point? What really pushed me over the edge was dealing with Samsung afterward. I've spent around six hours on the phone, been transferred from department to department, had to explain the same problems over and over again, and was even hung up on while trying to escalate my complaint. The technician basically reported that nothing was wrong with the dishwasher, despite all of these issues, which left me fighting Samsung just to get someone to take my concerns seriously. I've owned products from a lot of different companies over the years, and this has easily been the worst warranty experience I've ever had. Samsung seems more interested in explaining away problems than actually fixing them. If this is what Samsung considers normal—a loud dishwasher, dirty dishes after a wash cycle, and rack components that barely work—then they have some serious quality control problems. I won't be buying another Samsung appliance, and after this experience I wouldn't recommend one to anyone. A warranty doesn't mean much if every legitimate problem is dismissed as "working as designed." Save yourself the frustration and look at another brand.

If i could give ZERO STARS I would

If i could give ZERO STARS I would. My microwave arrived damaged and the hoops i have to go through to get it replaced is absolutely insane. They make it as difficult as possible and it will take a couple of weeks. I’ll never buy Samsung again. I honestly have never had such poor customer service

I spoke to a customer service…

I spoke to a customer service representative about my motherboard on my dryer breaking. There was no yelling or screaming. Granted, I was upset, but still cordial. The representative got frustrated with me and hung up on me midsentence. I called back to complain about her rude and unprofessional behavior, but nobody seemed to care. Worst customer service EVER!

DON'T PURCHASE... U WILL REGRET IT!

Unfortunately, this is another BAD review to add to the pile! I thought SAMSUNG was a top-of-the-line brand that stood by its reputation. I bought a brand-new washer/dryer set in black with bronze trim. I was ecstatic to finally get my hands on a beautiful set that was efficient, had all the features I wanted, and was stylish. And, as a smart customer, I bought their extended warranty, of course. Well, I finally got my set and enjoyed it — right up until the 2-month mark. The dryer malfunctioned and stopped working. So I called Samsung for a replacement, and they told me their repair service would have to come out to run a diagnostic first. I said okay, no problem. The repair man came, I heard clinks and clangs, and after about 30 minutes my dryer was working again. He said that since he was able to fix it, nothing further needed to be done. I figured, okay, from this point on I shouldn't need it serviced ever again. Welp — 2 months later, the exact same issue. It malfunctioned again with the identical problem. This time a second repair man came, and he appeared to be under the influence: he was rude, and he drove so recklessly (with a girl sitting in his car while he serviced my dryer) that I was convinced he was on something. He was so rude that I called Samsung right then, while he was still there, to complain and demand a replacement unit. Unfortunately, they were unwilling to see it from the customer's perspective — that I paid full price and expected a perfectly good, working dryer. And mind you, every single time my dryer broke down, it took them 2 to 3 weeks to come out and service it. Absolutely ridiculous. Then this technician left my dryer unplugged and not working, blaming it on clogged ducts. I called Samsung again and demanded a replacement, but I got the same story: the technician "fixed" it and I just needed to clean my ducts. So I found someone to clean my ducts. Then guess what happened next? Of course — it worked, until 6 months later, when it malfunctioned again! This time the first repair man showed back up, only to tell me Samsung had a new part he needed to install that would fix the problem. I called Samsung again and told them I demand a replacement. But apparently the technician has to first confirm it's unfixable before it can be replaced. He left it working again. I told the Samsung representative that I would write a review they'd regret — and they softly chuckled and said, "Sure, go right ahead, because there's nothing we can do for you." Welp. It is now 16 months since I purchased my brand-new set, and it happened AGAIN. Same issue, nothing changed, nothing fixed — the same malfunction as before. I go into my account to request another repair, and this time they don't even see my warranty! Hold up — I purchased an extended/added warranty! I KNOW I have a warranty and I am entitled to file my claim. Now I have to wait for the office to open tomorrow, but you'd better believe I'm going to give them a piece of my mind for all the inconvenience, the poor customer service, and taking my money without any compensation for the total lack of support. SAMSUNG HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. WARNING: DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCTS! YOU WILL REGRET IT — I PROMISE YOU. AND IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME, BELIEVE ONE OF THE 935 POSTS YOU SEE RIGHT HERE!

Samsung. The end of an era.

I rarely post complaints about companies, but my recent experience with Samsung has left me deeply disappointed. Just 2 years and 7 months after purchasing my 65-inch Samsung TV, it developed a prominent vertical yellow line across the screen. After researching the issue online, I found many reports from other owners describing what appears to be the same or a very similar backlight-related fault. While I cannot say whether every case has the same cause, it certainly doesn't appear to be an isolated incident. When I contacted Samsung, the response was simply that the TV is outside its 2-year warranty period. No goodwill assistance, no willingness to investigate further—just a reminder that the warranty had expired. When consumers invest a significant amount of money in a premium brand, they do so because they expect superior quality, reliability, and customer support. A television from a leading manufacturer should reasonably be expected to last far longer than 31 months. What disappoints me most is not only the failure itself, but the apparent lack of concern once the warranty has expired. Customer loyalty is built on how companies treat people when things go wrong, not only while products are under warranty. My advice to anyone considering a new television is simple: do your research. Understand exactly what support you can expect if your product develops a fault after the warranty expires. You may decide that buying a more affordable brand and replacing it every few years offers better value than paying a premium for a product you expect to last much longer. Samsung has lost my confidence as a customer. I sincerely hope the company reconsiders how it supports customers facing what appear to be premature product failures, because a strong reputation is built over many years but can be lost one disappointed customer at a time. Sometimes it is obvious to see when the writing is on the wall by the way a company supports it's products. Never again Samsung. Not me or my posterity.

Stop selling manufactured refurbished appliances without people knowing

I have the worst experience with my side by side refrigerator that I bought from Home depot, after 6 months my refrigerator and freezer is not working the freezer is not freezing and the fridge is warm. After contacting home depot I was told to contact Samsung warranty directly, I contact Samsung over a week and us still waiting . Today was supposed to be the schedule appointment, I received an email at 12:44 am saying my appointment was canceled due to not able to get untouched with me, no call or email came to my phone, upon calling Samsung the number they had for me was their own number, and the customer service was poor, miss Garlyn had no EMPATHY she spoke down to me as if I'm a child, she refused to get a supervisor as I requested, after speaking to Emanuel Id # 5084145605 who claimed that he is a supervisor he admitted to Samsung storing their same number as mine but was reluctant to get me a sooner appointment, I have small children in my home and without a refrigerator I'm stressed having to go to the supermarket every day due to not having a working refrigerator and the customer service team has no EMPATHY. Worst experience. SAMSUNG IS SELLING MANUFACTURED REFURBISHED APPLIANCES, THEY NEED TO BE STOPPED SAMSUNG NEED A RECO FOR SELLING REFURBISHED APPLIANCES AND RIPPING PEOPLE OFF.

Samsung's Trade-in Program

I have taken advantage of Samsung's trade-in "deals" about 4 times and each time, been "taken" by Samsung. For each trade-in, Samsung has DISALLOWED my trade in for some technicality that was not communicated well in advance. My last phone upgrade was disallowed and repeated calls to Samsung resulted in 2 different agents promising a refund. Trade-in was several months ago and I'm still waiting for a refund of what they charged me for the phone. Just saying Samsung is running a bait and switch scam on their trade-ins. Hope their reputation suffers. Buyer beware. UPDATE: Received a message from Samsung: Greetings from Samsung! We hope this email finds you in good health, this is in reference to your order: SA138656203, we sincerely apologize for all the inconvenience which may have caused you. We really appreciate your time and patience regarding this. Furthermore, as per the update received from the team you did not disable your personal security locks, the Factory Reset Protection or Activation Lock. When the box was opened at the trade-in facility. Because your Trade-in device, did not satisfy all requirements of our Trade-in Program Terms and Conditions. As a result, the trade-in charges will remain applicable, and we are unable to issue a refund. Basically, Samsung has stolen my trade-in phone. Further update: We hope this email finds you in good health, this is in reference to your order: SA138656203. We understand your frustration and regret the inconvenience caused. After reviewing your case, we must inform you that the charges applied are valid, as the device was found to be locked during the evaluation process. This condition disqualifies the device from the trade-in program. Please be assured that if there had been an option for RTC (Return to Customer) or to provide a one-time exception (OTE), we would have assisted you with it. Since an OTE was already provided earlier, we are unable to extend further assistance at this time. Basically, Samsung has stolen my phone.

We love your product but still ,we expect more…

I love your product but still we expect more from samsung like - > make a handy S ultra series like iphone pro > Make a camera module like iphone on which all camera and flash will be seen > make a mini pencil also according to this compact ultra > Also make a app lock > Easy way to do many and fast screen shots

Do not buy directly from Samsung

Do not buy directly from Samsung. My item arrived completely damaged. Their customer service team has made the resolution process incredibly frustrating and slow. I am currently stuck trying to recover a $54.99 promotional credit (Case# 375254369) just to re-order what should have arrived intact the first time. Terrible logistics and even worse customer care.

Worst way to spend $2,000

I bought a $2,000 Samsung refrigerator, and it broke after only four months. We lost more than $300 in food and had to spend another $350 on a temporary refrigerator for our family of five. Samsung offered only $100 for the food loss. Extremely disappointing product quality and customer service.

S24 Ultra - Avoid this phone like the plague

A £1,200 absolute disgrace. Paying £1,200 for a supposedly top-tier flagship device only to be handed a broken, overly complex piece of hardware is an absolute disgrace. The Samsung S24 Ultra is a complete and utter sham that fails at basic, fundamental tasks. 1. Core Functionality & Native App Failures Play Store Disasters: The phone routinely hangs on "can't download" when installing basic apps like WhatsApp. No troubleshooting works, clearing caches, restarting, or updating does nothing. Your only option is a full factory reset, wiping all your data just to install basic software. (I had this exact same bug on a Samsung S9 years ago; they still haven't fixed it). Camera Crashes: Even the native camera and video apps freeze up in the middle of recording and crash with an "unexpected error," losing whatever you were trying to film. Broken WhatsApp Voice Notes: Half the time, voice messages fail to send, crash, or send as completely blank audio, wasting your time and deleting your recordings. Unreliable Phone Calls: Features like Wi-Fi calling and network enhancements actually ruin basic calls. If you get put on hold in a queue (like the NHS 111 line), the phone simply drops the call after waiting for ages. You have to manually strip away all "modern" features just to make it function like an old-fashioned telephone. 2. Infuriating "Smart" Decisions & Broken Features Useless Airplane Mode: Instead of cutting off all wireless signals like Airplane Mode is meant to do, Samsung’s software "guesses" what you want and leaves Wi-Fi or Bluetooth on, giving you a condescending message telling you to turn them off manually. Silent Assistant: Google Gemini / Assistant refuses to speak on the lock screen. Unless you have the actual app open directly in front of you, it stays completely mute rendering the assistant virtually useless. Even 3rd party apps such as ChatGpt work fine on my lock screen or on Another tab, but somehow my phones native built in A.I assistant can't manage this. Fingerprint & NFC Pain: The fingerprint scanner is practically useless if you apply a screen protector. To make matters worse, NFC payments are a mess, the phone frequently forces you to scan your fingerprint a second time at a card reader even after you've already unlocked the device with your biometrics. Forced Menu Changes: seemingly near daily software updates constantly mess with your personal configuration, randomly changing settings like splitting the top quick-settings menu into two panels without asking. 3. Rapid Battery Degradation Despite turning on Battery Protect from day one (capping charges at 80%) and never leaving it plugged in overnight, the battery life collapsed within less than a year. It went from lasting a full day to needing multiple recharges just to survive till evening. 4. A Completely Broken Ecosystem (Galaxy Watch 5 Pro) The wider Samsung ecosystem is just as terrible. The Samsung Watch 5 Pro is virtually unusable, it lacks the processing power to run its own operating system. It constantly freezes on your wrist, takes up to half an hour to unfreeze, and chokes when trying to navigate basic menus or start a simple exercise track. Syncing with the phone forces you to constantly re-agree to endless terms of service while updates scramble your app layouts and order. Samsung's support for any of these issues is virtually non existent giving generic unhelpful advice. Conclusion: I moved from Sony to Samsung hoping for an upgrade. Sony was poor, but Samsung is infinitely worse, at least Sony phones can actually download an app and hold a call. Because its now just out of warranty, I can't even get a refund for this mess. Save your money, avoid the gimmicks, and stay well clear of Samsung.

SAMSUNG and Google is a poor mix

SAMSUNG move to Googlize everything has ruined my experience of their product which is now MUCH WORSE for those with accessibility needs. You cannot text someone unless via Google, which means that you cannot use the telephone keypad , and you have to use the text keyboard to insert the telephone number of the person you want to contact - which has tiny letters and numbers. Also Gemini and AI has taken over everything with no ability to stop it invading every bit of your life!!! Why dont they test these products first? Very disapointed and wont buy samsung again after 15 years of being a regular user. 😠

making a loss which cancelled my order

first off it all begain with a 15% birthdy voucher sent to me and still yet to be used, i was going to use this to get the Fold 8 but found out later i could'nt use it on flagship phones and was given a £50 money off voucher, so i was like it's better then nothing, i used this towads getting the fold 8, i also got a voucher for a free case, i used 1 of my phones and watch to trade in, plus other discounts which brought the phone to say £1,120 or something, i placed the order for the phone and saw i had another email direct from Samsung for a £200 off voucher to use on the new foldv8. so i cancelled my previous order, i put throught another order with all the codes which was only 2, the extra £100 off with trade in and the £200 voucher sent to me plus the £50 voucher, rest was in trade in's. i put this throught and it price went down to £888 plus the free caee, nind i forgot about the free ear buds. but i said no let it go. then i get a email from samsung saying my order was cancelled , i got in touch with Samsung asking them why was it cancelled, the 1st agent didnt give me an answer and just said was my trade in phone fully paid for i said yes, then sent me something and lost connection and couldnt get her back, she edited my basket with the fold 8 in a different colour and added ear buds to it, oh she gave the code for free ear buds. then got cut off, so i went back again because i was unable to use any of the discount codes, so i knew it Samsung didnt want me to pay the price i did as it was too low and was not making a profit off me but a loss. i went back and said my discount code for the £200 doesnt wotk, she goes it was a one time generated code which has been used, i said it hasnt been used, the order was cancelled by you, so i should be able to use this code or get a new one again, i didnt cancel the order, you guys did, she said that cant be done as its been used in that order, and then i sked why my order eas cancelled, apparently i didnt pass there security checks, and that she couldnt tell me more, i comfroted her and said its because samsung was amking a loss and made up this security check so i would have to pay more for the phone. but all my codes was inline with there terms and cconditions. i was robbed out my birthday discount and the £200 discount and the free case.in all they cancelled the order because they were making a loss. pure and simple.so just make sure they dont do this to you. time to move companies.

Everything people say about their…

Everything people say about their customer service is true. They're completely useless. I wanted to upgrade one aspect of my phone order (headphones). They made me cancel it, and of course then I couldn't get the discounts back. Done with Samsung as a company.
