Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Customers frequently complained about poor customer support, mentioning unhelpful representatives, extremely long waiting times, and constant difficulties resolving various technical issues. People also expressed deep frustration with hardware quality issues, unexpected device malfunctions, and restrictive software limitations that eventually rendered their items completely useless. Though some customers faced significant challenges, a small group of reviewers were genuinely happy with the helpful store staff and smooth hardware performance. These consumers deeply appreciated the friendly assistance received during direct store visits and praised the impressive overall quality of the product design.

I deeply regret paying for AppleCare+…

I deeply regret paying for AppleCare+ with Theft & Loss. I believed I was paying for peace of mind, but when I finally needed help, I was left completely on my own. I have spent two full days speaking with Apple Support, senior advisors and the insurance team. I have been passed from one department to another, but nobody has been able to solve my problem. My iPhone is my work tool, and I have already lost two days of work because of this. Despite paying for AppleCare+ for more than three years, I have been left without a working phone and told to wait even longer. This is not the level of service I expected from Apple or from a premium insurance plan. If I could go back in time, I would never buy AppleCare+ again. It has been a huge disappointment and, in my experience, completely failed when I actually needed it.

No options for lost and damaged phones

Lost my iphone and it got badly damaged. It had no ability to send or receive anything. I bought a new iphone and to set it up Apple continually attempted to send codes to the old one to verify. Store staff could not assist. It took a whole day of hideously frustrating work arounds to avoid. Apple needs some proper options for lost or damaged phone replacement. Next time I will be looking for a different brand of phone.

Former loyal Apple customer

Former loyal Apple customer – extremely disappointed after being told my repair was covered I’ve been an Apple customer for many years. Between myself, my wife, and my kids, we’ve owned multiple iPhones, several iPads (including one that cost me £2,000), two MacBook Pros — the most recent costing over £2400 — and an Apple Mac. I’ve spent thousands with Apple and always defended the brand. I even bought two Apple Watch Series 10s when they came out. My wife uses one, and I used the other while keeping my Apple Watch Series 3 as my work watch. I’ve consistently invested in Apple products across the board. Recently, my Apple Watch Series 3 failed in a way I never expected. The battery swelled and pushed the screen off the watch. I contacted Apple Support and was clearly told the repair would be covered, even though the watch is eight years old. Based on that information, they booked me an appointment at the Manchester Apple Store. This is an hour’s drive for me. I wasted my time and my fuel because I trusted what Apple Support told me. When I arrived at the Genius Bar, I was told the exact opposite: The repair is not covered. Apple no longer repairs that model. The battery swelling is a “safety feature.” The watch is effectively unrepairable. I even showed the Genius Bar staff the messages from Apple Support confirming it was covered. Their response was simply that Support should not have told me that. So not only was the information wrong, but it directly caused me to make a completely unnecessary journey. I was also told this is normal for older Apple devices, including iPhones — that after a certain number of years, support stops, software updates end, apps won’t download, and customers are expected to buy a new device. For products that cost hundreds or even thousands of pounds, this is extremely disappointing. None of this is explained at the time of purchase. Apple does not tell customers that their devices have a limited lifespan or that support will simply end. Meanwhile, I have a gold watch made for the millennium that still works perfectly. I have analogue watches and inexpensive battery watches over 20 years old that still function fine. I may replace a battery occasionally, but the battery doesn’t explode or blow the face off the watch like my Apple Watch did. After years of loyalty, I feel let down. Apple Support gave me incorrect information, which resulted in a wasted journey, wasted fuel, and wasted time. The lack of long‑term durability in Apple products is shocking considering the price, and the inconsistency between Support and the Genius Bar is unacceptable. i Have old Nokia Phones that still work when i charge them. their not as good as apple but the still work as a phone years later I’m posting this here because customers deserve to know the reality: Apple devices do not stand the test of time, and being told one thing by Support only to be contradicted at the store is not acceptable. Apple should not be wasting customers’ time and money like this.

I purchased the new apple iPhone 17 pro…

I purchased the new apple iPhone 17 pro in the Norwich Uk store. Since purchasing I have lost all my music. I constantly have issues with my watch & on phone to apple support. Apparently I lose my music because with the new iPhone 17 pro you have to pay a monthly subscription to get access to music already purchased! iTunes has gone and since trying to set up on the iPhone I told apple support I have it all still on the iPad, big mistake, they went in and removed it all! I see the reviews for apple are nearly all 1 star, I don’t think they deserve 1 star. So my phone purchased in May, now July and still having trouble with my watch so can’t use it much. Just has a message on all the time and doesn’t sinc to iPhone. In the store waiting for set up help the support guy was more interested in helping the young girls that I was sat there for 3 hours. Cost £8 and I left because I just wasn’t getting any help or any further. I had to google my way through set up when I got home. Awful service, awful product. Wish I had gone android as I’ve been with apple since iPhone 7 and this has been the worst experience. I would love to have my money back and go android.. never thought I’d ever say that!

I thought great customer service was why we pay a premium price for Apple products?

Every few years, when an iPad wears out, I turn it in and receive a credit on a reburbished unit. The process has always been seamless and swift. But no more! I initiated the return on 6/24. The "return kit" was a flimsy cardboard envelope, a big change from previous returns when a sturdy box was provided. We shipped the iPad the same day, but it took until 7/3 for Apple to acknowledge receipt, then another 4 days for them to issue a credit, which was $30 instead of the $135 they initially offered me because supposedly the housing was dented (it wasn't when I shipped it). I ordered a new iPad anyway, and opted for free delivery on July 10. But when I received the order confirmation, the expected delivery date was changed to July 15-17. I called Customer Service and tried to edit the order to switch to expedited delivery, but was told it would take four days to process the change, and the agent couldn't tell me how long after that I could expect delivery. So now it's been two weeks without an iPad, and it looks like at least another week for something that previously transpired in 48 hours. I thought great customer service was why we pay a premium price for Apple products?

Recently purchased a Macbook Neo

Recently purchased a Macbook Neo, and very happy with this little laptop. It is just nice to see Apple make a more affordable product for a change, and this laptop provides great value. Service in the Toronto store was good, it was quite busy so it did take some time before a staff member could answer questions, but when he did he was very helpful

I purchased a new iPad via the Apple…

I purchased a new iPad via the Apple website and paid for Apple care. Device stopped 6 weeks later. Apple agreed to send a new one but they keep sending a link that doesn’t work to proceed with this. Their excuses for this not progressing are: 1. The link doesn’t work on a Sunday 2. There is a maintenance issue with Apple They are doing everything they can to not replace the device .

Great when it works, but be prepared for months of troubleshooting

I bought my Mac mini M4 in January 2025, and unfortunately it has been one of the most frustrating technology purchases I have made. My 1993 MacBook 100 still works. The machine suffers from an intermittent fault in which it regularly fails to wake from sleep, leaving me with no option but to force a restart. It also unexpectedly restarts on its own from time to time. Because the problem is intermittent, Apple has been unable to reproduce it, despite me providing multiple videos showing exactly what happens. The Mac Mini M4 has been back to the Apple Store in Covent Garden several times. My case has been escalated through AppleCare to Level 2 Support and then to Apple's technical engineering team, yet months later there is still no diagnosis or solution. The latest plan is for Apple to keep the machine in the hope that the fault happens while they have it. I've also experienced issues with setting up and using Touch ID via the power button, which only adds to the overall disappointment. I want to be clear that the Apple Store staff and AppleCare advisors have always been polite, professional, and genuinely tried to help. My frustration is not with the people but with the product and Apple's inability to resolve what appears to be a genuine fault. When the Mac mini works, it is fast, quiet and impressive. Unfortunately, reliability is more important than performance. A computer that cannot be trusted to wake from sleep or remain stable is not fit for purpose, regardless of how powerful it is. My advice is simple: only buy this machine if you have the time, patience, and easy access to an Apple Store, because if you are unlucky enough to receive one with an intermittent fault, you may find yourself spending months troubleshooting instead of enjoying your new computer. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend the Mac mini M4.

Apple products get worse and worse Apple is the WORST!…

Apple products get worse and worse every year so I finally made the jump back to pc and Google products. My Samsung phone is so much more affordable and equal in most things if not better. iCloud service is extremely OVERPRICED. I get Microsoft Office 365 with 1tb cloud services FREE which is about the same as paying for ONLY cloud services with APPLE! What a RIap aoFF Cannot afford NEW Apple products and they SUCK rotten jackfruit anyway! If you are considering APPLE save your HARD earned money and AVOID them like the plague! I have been getting stopped off for far too long to even tell you and I wanted to leave but they made it seem like it would hurt me because all my pics and videoed CD from 15 years are on Apple iCloud but I got them on MSN now for mulch less and I got MSN 365 and Xbox free for a year! Apple NEVaeR offers anything like that so go kick a rock to to the curb Apple and get KNOTTED!

I have been using Apple Imac computers /iPhones for many years

I have been using Apple Imac computers and iPhones. I got hooked when I bought my 1st mini Mac .I love the fact there is no defrag or antivirus to buy. The negative is the updates are forced on you and they slow the device down draining the batery so you replace your iPhone. The problem is they are too expensive to replace. I have a perfectly working xs model and truefully it is still blazing fast. But now apps are not working properly because the IOS is out of date. They are forcing me to replace it. I had a job when I bought it now I am on a fixed income and why should I have to settle for something of lower grade because the price has almost doubled. Also I really got ripped off when I decided to sell my perfect condition 2017 iMac 27”. I wiped the hard drive like I should. When I went to load the IOS back in Apple had shut down the server permanently so now I couldn’t,t sell it or use it.This has 32 gb or ram I bought now rendered useless. BOTTOM LINE WE LIVE IN AWORLD OF EXSTREME GREED

Anyone thinking of using apple mail

Anyone thinking of using apple mail, don't! I have 3 mail accounts, all basically apple email accounts from 30 years ago, starting with .mac, .me and now .icloud. The .me account is riddled with spam and crap and I want to get rid of it and just keep icloud.com. However apple who can spend millions on advertising will spend nothing to solve this problem. All I want is for them to unlink my .mac and .me email accounts but they say it is impossible, what I must do is select a new email but if you keep the same mobile number then that will not work. So all in all, apple does sweet FA and you must change everything including a phone number which has nothing to do with them except they link it to your account. If revenue depended on it, they would change it, but as it doesn't apple does not give a toss about you as long as you keep buying, once you have you are of no use to them. APPLE is successful financially because they don't support their product and services.

I was and partially still am

I was and partially still am, an Apple fan but my recent experience with the apple home pod mini has brought me to the point were it will be anything but Apple from now on. All my 5 home pod minis are in configuration limbo, i.e only partially functional. Two whole days spend on working through all proposed solutions and no change. And for this I paid money?

Awful customer service lack of consumer law acknowledgment

Awful customer service and lack of regard for consumer law. Order a Mac, due to a minor postcode error, order refunded on the delivery day. Told to have it resent, it would cost another £100 due to global economics and new price increases! Shocked at the attitude, very underhand. As an Apple household for many years. We have decided to move on. Dishonest and untrustworthy tactics. Considering trading standards action.
