Louis Pina was excellent - I’m quite happy with him but am so very disappointed in Liberty Home Guard regarding my claim. Waiting a week for an issue where I cannot use any water in my home is unacceptable - do better. I was able on my own to get someone in same day. What am I paying you for?

I agreed to purchase Liberty Home Guard for my Home as they assured me that if anything broke down that the would either fix or replace the appliance that was covered. Then my refrigerator did go out, I paid the $125.00 fee to have the technician come look at it. The compressor had gone out the fridge. Liberty Home Guard said in the fine print that of all things that the compressor was not covered on the refrigerator. Compressor on a refrigerator not covered... they said sorry but we will allow you $500.00 towards a new one if you buy it through us. Right through them... otherwise they would reimburse me $100.00. Well I canceled the plan and now they won't send me even the $100.00. I will be complaining to my State Attorney General and everywhere else I can to show people just how dirty they are. I have spoken to them numerous times but I get nowhere with them. It is very sad. I will NEVER refer them they tell you one thing but you can't even see the fine print until you are committed. They are not nice people... DON'T BUY FROM LIBERTY HOME GUARD. You will be sorry like I am.

Worst home warranty company. Delayed communication. I had to continue to call them about my claim and some of the reps a rude. Dishonest. I brought a 5 year policy and was told by the rep that ai could cancel at anytime with out any penalty. Now they are telling me that was not correct.

My refrigerator stopped cooling . After 1.5 weeks from the complaint, the resolution department tells me that the technician reported that this issue with the compressor has been happening before I signed the contract. How do I know the preexisting conditions? It was cooling fine when I signed up. The whole idea of home warranty is to cover items which are past the manufacturer warranty. Stay away from this company. I’m going to take this matter to the consumer protection agencies.

This company has been a total nightmare as my family and I struggled with broken AC units in our Arizona home. (Currently 110 degrees in Phoenix). It has been over four weeks since we opened our claim. Three technicians have recommended total replacement of the units, and finally today Liberty Home Guard offered us $450 "reimbursement" to replace both units, which was quoted at $23,000 by the technicians. In the meantime, we have been displaced from our home and dealing with very slow response times and excuses why they cannot or will not help us through this. On several occasions I called to ask to speak with a supervisor, and was told "that is not possible." We are under financial strain and a lot of stress, I feel like we were tricked when we signed up for this policy. I wish that we would have used my last home warranty company instead.

I submitted a claim to my home warranty company (Liberty Home Guard) regarding my ceiling fan that quit working. I received a call from Fabio Lopez of the Liberty Home Guard Resolution Team telling me what their resolution was. The resolution was much greater than I had expected, They are not going to repair my broken ceiling fan, but are going to replace the ceiling fan with a new ceiling fan at no cost to me. Fabio was very curtesy, easy to understand, and stay on the phone with me until I could complete the claim. This is my second claim that I have made to Liberty Home Guard and both times their remedy was greater than my expectations. I would recommend Liberty Home Guard as the best Home Warranty Company ever based on my experience.
